We take in our surroundings with our eyes as we eat, and pleasant surroundings do wonders to enhance the culinary experience.  Restaurant Villa Lindesnäs lies high up above Byfjorden, and its terrace offers a fantastic view over the majestic Uddevalla Bridge. Villa Sjötorp, acclaimed by Västsvensk Mersmak (West Swedish More Taste), and Lyckorna Brygga are both in Ljungskile and both offer beautiful views over Ljungskile bay. At Lyckorna Brygga you are actually right on the water. There is a salmon shop further down the bay where you can eat, or buy to take away, salmon prepared every which way.
In the lush park surroundings at the old traditional spa resort of Gustafsberg lies the equally traditional summer restaurant, and here also the water lies very close by.
