Today’s campsites are activity centres set in relaxing surroundings where you can take part, as you will, in the activities provided. In Uddevalla there are two four-star campsites that are open all year round, Hafsten SweCamp Resort and Unda Camping. They are situated to the west of Uddevalla on the fjord that runs in from the western seas. If you want to do something more than lie on the beach or play in the water, there is plenty to choose from, e.g. minigolf and canoeing. During the summer months you can move around via the fjord ferry that calls in at the campsite landing stage. Do you horse ride? There is an 8.5 km long riding trail running from Hafsten. Everything you need for your riding tour is ready available at the campsite, including a guide.
If you would prefer a quieter location then perhaps Fossens camping on Gullmarsfjorden or Lyckornas husvagnscamp to the south of Lungkile, which are smaller, would be more suitable. Fossen has minigolf and rowing boats which are available for campsite guests. Small boats are available at Lyckorna. All the campsites are situated directly on the coast and all have cabins for rental.
Lane Loge is a well known dance location where you can swing and bop the night away to popular dance bands. There are also cabins available and space to set up your caravan or pitch your tent. Lane Loge also provides the opportunity to try the unusual but fun sport of football golf.
