The adventure package is available complete or you can test a single activity. Upplevesebolaget (The experience company) has put together an experiencing nature programme that meets the criteria set by the “Protection of nature” group, i.e., a programme that is as in tune with nature as possible. It includes kayaking, mountain biking, and rock climbing. The participating groups compete against each other as in the TV programme “Fort Boyard”, in which a series of challenging tasks have to be carried out.

Friluftsfrämjandet (The Outdoor life club) in Ljungskile has a comprehensive kayaking programme which takes in the extremes of ice water paddling and, in September, nightly ‘sea-fire’ paddling trips. The company UteGuiderna teaches you the basics of rapids kayaking, but they also have kayak tours, rock climbing and survival courses on their programme.

Horse riding can also be an out of the ordinary challenge ... if you have never sat on one before. The Iceland ponies at Skansens Gårdhandel are, however, steady under hoof and the feeling lovely when you break into that special Iceland pony trot. The challenge of western riding should draw the more experienced rider to LB Western at Bokenäs, and for the trekkers, Hafstens SweCamp provides horse, guide and an 8 km long tour.

Paradise Paintball & Äventyr is the place for paintball, sumo-wrestling and archery to name but a few. It also provides wheeled adventure in the form of enduro, off-road vehicles etc., located close to Glimmingen race track where you can also test one of Sweden’s best go-cart circuits. Power in another form can you experience at Äventyr & Catering. Their high-speed rib boats propel you through the water at 65 knots. In contrast to high speed boating they also work with paragliding.
If pentathlon or football golf, a light sport which combines the accuracy aspect of miniature golf with football’s long balls, appeals then head for Lane Loge. As we said, there is something for all, big and small.
